Carson, Calif. – After dropping the first three games of the CCAA series the Seawolves came back from a 3-0 deficit in the eighth with five runs.
Zach Guardino led the Seawolves offense going 4-5 at the plate, both
Jack Pridy and
Dan Deely recorded two RBIs.
The Seawolves got on the board first, when Deely singled to right field to score
Bryce Vitt.
Cal State Dominguez Hills came back swinging in the third, scoring three runs off two hits.
The score remained 3-1 in favor of the Toros until the eighth when the Seawolves strung four hits together to cross the plate five times for a 6-3 lead and final score.
Guardino kicked off the Seawolves eighth inning rally with a single to right center to score
John Abate, then with bases loaded
Kory Brown drew a walk with bases loaded to tie the Toros 3-3.
Tied, Pridy stepped up to the plate with a 2 run RBI single up the middle for the win. Deely, then added an insurance run with a sacrifice3 fly to center field.
Tyson Canfield threw his second win of the season.
