Rohnert Park, Calif. – Before taking to the road this weekend for two matches against Division I opponents No. 33 Sonoma State swept Dixie State 7-0.
 
The Seawolves improve to 8-3 on the season.
 
Doubles: Hannah Highsmith and Jenna DeTurk recorded the Seawolves first win of the day beating Hattie Erekson and Juliana Honczaruk 6-1 in the No. 2 slot. The No. 33 tandem of Jensyn Warren and Carolyn Brooner topped Yolena Carlon and Isabel Heras 6-3 at the No. 1 position t0o claim the doubles point. Clarisa Colling and Carolina Alfonsin completed the Seawolves doubles sweep with their 6-2 victory over Kyra Harames and Megan Lynch in the No. 2 slot.
 
Singles: After claiming the doubles point, the Seawolves moved around their line-up securing all six singles matches. Colling downed Kyra Harames 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot. In the No 5 position, Carolina Alfonsin defeated Elly Lloyd 6-2, 6-0, followed by a 6-0, 6-3 win by Jenna DeTurk at No. 3 to clinch the match.
 
The Seawolves continued its singles success as No. 12 Jensyn Warren beat Yolena Carlon 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 1 position. Carolyn Brooner and Hannah Highsmith wrapped up the Seawolves 7-0 win over the Trailblazers. Brooner topped Megan Lynch 7-6, 6-0 and Highsmith def. Hattie Erekson 7-5, 7-5.
