The Streak Continues

Turlock, Calif. – Sonoma State is now 21-9 overall and 11-6 in conference after winning all five games at the Tournament of Champions in Turlock this weekend. The Seawolves faced four GNAC opponents and one PacWest, run-ruling both Chaminade and Simon Fraser.
 
In its final game of the weekend, the Seawolves topped Central Washington 4-3, as Brielle Vidmar picked up her 12th win of the season. Vidmar faced 13 batters in her 2.2 innings in the circle to close the game. Teresa Danenberg got the start, tossing 4.1 innings where she faced 20 batters striking out two.
 
Freshman Cassidy Ronamo led Sonoma States offense you went 2-for-3 at the plate, featuring a first inning three-run home run over left field.
 
The Seawolves found themselves tied in the third 3-3 after allowing five run-producing hits throughout the third, fifth and sixth.
