BOX SCORE 2 Oakland, Calif. – The Seawolves got on the court for their fourth and fifth matches of the season for a doubleheader against Mills College and Holy Names sweeping both teams 7-0.

This season, Division II has adopted the Division I ruling, usually in a Division II match, each matchup gets a point for the final score, however in the new adopted Division I ruling whoever wins two of the three doubles matches receives one point, with the remaining six points being decided in singles play.

Doubles: Seawolves opened the day by claiming the doubles point following a 6-0 win by No. 3

Carolina Alfonsin and
Clarisa Colling over Tesmu and Nicholos. No. 1

Singles: With a solid start claiming the doubles point, the Seawolves moved around their line-up as secured all six singles matches.Warren was the first Seawolf to win her singles match, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1. Another impressive Sonoma State win came from Brooner as she won her match 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3. The team match was clinched as Alfonsin walked off the courts with a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 5 spot.

Highsmith put together a solid 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 6 slot, while DeTurk claimed a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4. Collin rounded out the Seawolves sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 2 slot.
