The Seawolves' game against Dominican University resulted in a hard loss Wednesday, September 11th, at home. The game was a back and forth battle resulting in a tie, 0-0, at the end of the first half. The Penguins scored in the 51st minute and the Seawolves retaliated by scoring in the 54th minute. The Seawolves' goal was scored by Ulysses Vega assisted by Eduardo Rodriguez.
The final goal of the game was scored by the Penguins, in the 73rd minute, resulting in the final 2-1 loss. While the Seawolves never gave up and continued fighting; the loss was a tough one to swallow. Head Coach Marcus Ziemer is staying positive and explains that,"We have a good team, but we need to figure it out quickly. Our Schedule only gets more difficult from here on. I believe in our guys and with some hard work we will get it straight."
The Seawolves' next match is this Saturday, September 14th against Concordia Oregon. We look forward to a "W" at home!
