Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Men's Basketball Struggles Continue

On Thursday January 2, the men's basketball team of Sonoma State took on the Broncos of Cal Poly Pomona as they looked to get back in the win column after a long road trip. The Seawolves went on to lose the game 77-52 and the Seawolves dropped to 2-6 in conference play and 3-11 on the season.

The Seawolves were well in the game at the half as they were only down 6 to the Broncos. However, turnovers were the death of the Seawolves especially in the second half as they committed 17 for the game. The Broncos were able to score 28 points off those turnovers and 42 points from the paint. Sonoma shot 50% in the first half but that quickly fell in the second and the Seawolves were only 1-11 from 3-point range in the second half. Isaac Davidson was the only Seawolf in double figures last night as he recorded 12 points and 7 boards.

Sonoma State returns to action in a double header on Saturday afternoon at 3pm as they face off against Cal State San Bernardino.
