Rohnert Park, Ca- On Saturday January 4th, the women's basketball team of Sonoma state faced off against the coyotes of San Bernardino. The Seawolves came took care of San Bernardino 65-47 to finish off their home stand before hitting the road for their next two weeks of play.
The Seawolves lead by as many as 19 late in the fourth and held the Coyotes to just 31% from the field. Sonoma forward
Ugochi Anudokem recorded a double double with 14 points and 14 boards and
Zane Sheckherd lead the Seawolves with 17 points off the bench! Sonoma's bench was huge in their win as they recorded 28 points to San Bernardino's 7. 9 Seawolves recorded points in the matchup to help extend the lead and finish the Coyotes.
The Seawolves return to action January 11 at San Francisco State and will resume home play January 23 against Cal State San Marcos.
