Biography

2010:  Raced in five meets for Sonoma State as a junior...finished a season's-best 14th place at the SSU Invite (10/2/10), crossing the line at 20:29...named to the CCAA All-Academic team.

• Top 5k: 21:43 (Santa Clara Invitational)
• Top 6k: 26:40 (SFSU Invitational)

2009:  Ran in seven of the eight meets for the Seawolves…grabbed a 13th place finish with a time of 18:42.0 at the CSUMB three-mile Invite (9/5/09)…finished 20th in the Stanislaus 6k Invite with a mark of 25:58 (9/26/09)…named CCAA All-Academic.

• Top 6k: 24:26.0 (Gator Invite)

2008: Saw action in all eight meets for the Seawolves as a freshman...was the team's No. 2 runner at the CCAA Championships in San Bernardino...bounced between No. 3 and No. 4 for most of the season...her top finish at an intercollegiate meet (12th) came at the Mills Invitational...one of just four runners to compete in every meet.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in track and field, cross-country and soccer at Troy High School...as a senior, she led her team to the Freeway League soccer championship and CIF quarterfinals… was the Freeway league champion in the 800 meters in 2006 and 2007...a member of the 2007 Freeway league championship cross-country team.

PERSONAL: Picked Sonoma State because she "loves wine country" and she likes and beauty of the campus...wants to be a physical therapist when she gets older...is a fan of soccer star Mia Hamm...a fan of soccer star David Villa of FC Barcelona, but follows Real Madrid…loves to eat breakfast burritos from Del Taco...her most memorable sports moment was passing the previous 800m champion during a track and field race to claim the individual league championship as a sophomore in high school.
