Sonoma State University Athletics

JUNIOR COLLEGE/HIGH SCHOOL:  Comes to Sonoma State from nearby Santa Rosa Junior College...earned the 2008 ITA/Arthur Ashe Jr. Sportsmanship and Leadership Award at SRJC...a two-time All-Big 7 selection...was teh 2007 Big 7 Conference champion in doubles...graduated from Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa...named All-NCS for doubles in 2005...included on the NCS Distinguished Scholar Team...was a Second Team All-League selection in singles as well.

PERSONAL:  Decided on Sonoma State in part because of the psychology program...wants to become a children’s psychologist after graduation...his biggest sports thrill to date was beating Mt. Tam in the NCS team quarterfinals...is a fan of the Sacramento Kings...didn’t play tennis seriously until his junior year of high school...once scored 46 points in a basketball game.
