Collin Wilber grew up in Yorktown, Virginia and has spent the last decade dedicated to baseball as a player and coach. Wilber played four years of collegiate ball at Christopher Newport University and the Newport News Apprentice School.

As a coach, Wilbur has been all over the country working across different organizations and roles. From 2022 through 2023 he served as a catching & game planning coach for the High-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 2023,Wilber saw three catchers that he personally worked with make their MLB debuts (Endy Rodriguez, Henry Davis, & Logan Porter). During the 2023-24 season Wilber worked as a catching & hitting coach with  Sacramento City College. He also spent time during 2024 coaching in the Cape Cod league as the bullpen & catching coach for the Chatham Anglers,a collegiate summer baseball team that competes in the Cape Cod Baseball League. Wilber also spent time as the Director of Player Development at the Inspiration Academy, an assistant coach at Concordia University of Ann Arbor and served as a Student Assistant at  Eastern Michigan University.
