Alex Farfan joins head coach Rich Shayewitz’s staff for the 2024-2025 season as the Men’s Basketball primary manager. 

Farfan attended Sierra High School where he won the Sac-Joaquin Section Championship as a junior while also establishing himself as one of the best players in the Valley Oak League. During his high school career he was a two time Valley Oak League Scholar Athlete and a two time Valley Oak League champion. 

He returned to Sierra High School as a coach where he spent four seasons in the program with his final three years serving as the head junior varsity coach while also serving on the varsity staff as an assistant. 

Farfan most recently graduated from Modesto Junior College with an Associates of Arts for Transfer in Kinesiology. While at Sonoma he will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Exercise Science while working alongside the basketball program.
