HIGH SCHOOL:Comes to Sonoma State from Santa Rosa High School.. earned the Santa Rosa High School Runner of the Year four times, the 2013 Press Democrat Athlete of the Year, the 2012-13 Santa Rosa High School Athlete of the Year, 2011 Redwood All-Empire Track and Field Girl Athlete of the Year, and 2011 North Coast Section CIF 800m champion… after High School Kara attended UCLA and now joins us here at Sonoma State. 

PERSONAL:Born September 27, 1994, in Salaga, Ghana … Daughter of Ibrahim and Colleen Adamu … Has two brothers named Rasheed and Razak and a sister named Ummu-Kalsoum.Â
