Biography
2011-12: Continued her assault on the school record books with another tremendous season...for the third straight year, she earned NGCA/NCAA All-West Region honors and this time was a First Team All-America selection...was also an NGCA Scholar All-America selection and a CoSIDA Academic All-District pick...broke her own school record with a 68 in her first round of the year...shot a 69 later in the season...established a school record for a two-round score (138) at the Grand Canyon Fall Invitational...was individual medalist four times, including at the NCAA Division II Super Regional...competed as an individual at the NCAA Championship, finishing 8th...broke her own school mark for cumulative record in head-to-head competition with a mark of 725-82 (.898)...again set a school record for stroke average with a 75.4.
2010-11: Again captured NGCA/NCAA All-West Region and Honorable Mention All-America honors as a sophomore...qualified for the national tournament as an individual, finishing 15th...was individual medalist at the Lady Otter Invitational and finished in the top three at four others...the highest round she shot all season was an 82...went under 75 ten times...her best two-round score of the season was a 148, which she accomplished twice...placed 3rd at the NCAA Division II Super Regional...went 623-101 (.860) in head-to-head competition...bested her own school record for a season with a 76.1 stroke average.
2009-10: Had a tremendous freshman season that saw her earn NGCA/NCAA All-West Region and Honorable Mention All-America honors...was Sonoma State's top finisher at both the NCAA Division II Super Regional (2nd) and NCAA Championship (10th)...competed in 13 tournaments, finishing in the top ten 11 times...recorded a cumulative win-loss record of 660-92 (.878)...captured her first collegiate title at the Cal State East Bay Invitational...shot a then school record-tying 69 at the Dominican Invitational...best tournament score of the year was a 145 at the Dominican Invitational...recorded a season stroke average of 77.2, at the time the best in school history.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Turlock High School in 2009...was named the Bulldogs' Most Valuable Player and was the recipient of her team's Coaches Award...earned All-District honors...selected as Most Valuable Player of the Central California Conference...named to the Principal's Honor Roll.
PERSONAL: Hopes to get a job coaching golf after graduation...would like to meet Tiger Woods...lists her parents as her biggest influence as an athlete...always marks a flower on her ball...her goal for this season is to qualify for the national tournament as a team.
