Men's Tennis Earns Third Straight NCAA Bid

The Seawolves are no strangers to the beaches of Hawaii
ROHNERT PARK, Calif-  For the third consecutive season, the Sonoma State men's tennis team has received an invitation to the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Championships.  The Seawolves will take on a familiar foe, Hawaii Pacific, at 11:00 am on May 9th in Waipahu, Hawaii.

The teams have met once this season with the Seawolves nearly knocking off a then-undefeated Hawaii Pacific squad.  The Sea Warriors prevailed 5-4.

The Sea Warriors are currently 18-1 and ranked No. 10 in the nation.  Their lone loss was to the University of Hawaii, an NCAA Division I team.

Sonoma State will enter the tournament ranked 34th in the nation with an overall record of 9-12.  The Seawolves are 6-4 against NCAA Division II foes.
