GLENDALE, Ariz- Men's tennis concluded play Monday morning in Arizona, falling to Hawaii-Hilo 9-0. The setback drops the Seawolves record to 2-5.
In doubles, the Seawolves were competitive despite losing all three matches. The No. 1 doubles tandem of
Connor Olson and
Jordan Smith were edged by the Vulcan duo of Laurent Columbo and Kevin Tamura, 8-6.
The Vulcans dominated in singles, winning every set but one. The lone set win for the Seawolves came at No. 1 singles, as
Connor Olson was defeated by Columbo (3-6, 7-6 (2), 10-5).
Sonoma returns to the court Feb. 20 when they square off against NAIA powerhouse Fresno Pacific. First serve in Fresno is set for 2:00 p.m.
