DAVIS, Calif- Scott Gaynor earned a hard fought, three-set match victory over Nic Amaroli, but it would be the only win by Sonoma State on Saturday, as the Seawolves fell 6-1 at UC Davis. With the loss, SSU falls under .500 to 7-8 overall.

Gaynor and Quan Vu put up a fight at the No. 3 doubles spot, only to fall to Tyler Lee and Amaroli, 8-6. Gaynor then notched the only SSU victory after a 4-6, 7-6 (6), 10-1 win at the No. 5 singles position.

Sonoma State will take on Foothill CC on Friday in an exhibition match before returning to the regular season schedule on Saturday and Sunday with matches against UC Santa Cruz and UC San Diego, respectively, for the last two home matches of the 2010 season.
