SAN BERNARDINO, Calif- Behind the ten points of Jaclyn Bisordi, Aly Conway and Oly Larkin, the Sonoma State women's basketball team held Cal State San Bernardino to just 15 points in the second half on its way to a 50-47 upset victory on the road. The Seawolves (7-14, 5-12 CCAA) remain in playoff contention with the win while the Coyotes (16-4, 12-4 CCAA) lose for just the fourth time this season.

Cal State San Bernardino, who had lost just once at home before Friday's loss to Sonoma State, jumped out to a 17-9 lead, 11 minutes into the ballgame. A layup by Conway about a minute and a half later would cut into the eight point lead by the Coyotes, but Eisha Sheppard put the hosts right back up to an eight-point lead at 19-11 with 7:30 remaining in the half.

Two free throws by Larkin and a three pointer by Aly Henington on consecutive possessions got Sonoma State within three points, but it would be as close as the visitors would get in the opening half. A layup by CSUSB's Sheppard with four seconds left on the clock before the halftime buzzer, gave the Coyotes a 32-26 lead at the intermission.

To open the second half, the Seawolves went on a 8-2 run to even the game at 34-34, but could not take the lead. Cal State San Bernardino then scored the next five points to lead by five. However, Sonoma State wouldn't go away quietly. The Seawolves went on a 9-0 run over the next four and a half minutes to take a 43-39 lead. A jumper by the Coyotes' Sierra Chess ended the 9-0 run, but a three ball by Bisordi and a made jumper by Henington on two straight possessions put Sonoma State up seven points (48-41) with just 2:55 to play.

Defending its home floor, Cal State San Bernardino made things interesting, scoring the game's next six points to trail by just one point at 48-47 with 16 seconds left, but two free throws with 11 ticks on the clock by Conway sealed the three-point upset for Sonoma State.

Bisordi, Conway and Larkin all scored 10 points for the Seawolves, while Bisordi recorded a double-double with a game- and career-high 12 rebounds, eight of which came in the first half. SSU outrebounded CSUSB by a narrow margin, 42-39. Neither team shot particularly well, but Sonoma State (19-59; 33.9 percent) outshot Cal State San Bernardino (21-65; 32.3 percent). The Seawolves were 9 of 12 from the free throw line while the Coyotes shot just three from the charity stripe, making two of them.

Cal State San Bernardino's Eisha Sheppard led all scorers with 14 points and added a double-double of her own with 10 rebounds.

Sonoma State will look to continue its winning ways against conference-leader Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday in Pomona. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. from Kellogg Gym in Pomona.
