Seawolves Surrender Late Run By D1 Tigers In Exhibition Loss

STOCKTON, Calif. --
The Sonoma State men's basketball team led by as much as six points early in the second half, but NCAA Division I Pacific went on a 23-4 run over the final six minutes to earn an 83-62 victory over the Division II Seawolves in exhibition action at the Alex. G Spanos Center in Stockton on Saturday night.  Sonoma was led the 13 points by James Davis, while newcomer JJ Mina chipped in with 10. 

The Seawolves will open their 2014-15 campaign at home on Friday night when they host the Seawolves of Alaska Anchorage at 7:30 pm as part of the 14th Annual Ron Logsdon Basketball Classic in Rohnert Park.

Sonoma State would hold a lead on five separate occasions Saturday, including the six-point lead with 17:19 left in the second half after a Mike Harris three-pointer, but Pacific would begin to chip away before sprinting to the finish line for the 21-point win.
