GLENDALE, Ariz. --
Matt Roberts, Daniel Holz and Vincent Paganetti picked up wins in singles play, but the Sonoma State men's tennis team suffered a 6-3 loss to Western New Mexico on Sunday to wrap up its annual trip to Arizona.  The Seawolves fall to 1-4 this season.

Sonoma dropped all three doubles matches, but Seth Hein and Jimmy Manning gave their opponents at No. 3 doubles a run for their money before falling 9-8 (3).  In singles play, Roberts (6-4, 7-6 (5)), Holz (6-3, 6-4) and Paganetti (6-0, 6-2) took wins at No. 1, 3 and 6 singles, respectively, but the Mustangs clinched the match win by taking victories in the other three singles competitions.

Sonoma State will take a two week break before hosting Whittier on Mar. 2 at the SSU Tennis Courts in Rohnert Park.
