SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. --
A pair of free throws by Michael Avery with 7:32 to play in the first half put the Sonoma State men's basketball team down by just three points, but Cal State San Bernardino, the 15th-ranked team in the country, went on a 23-6 run to end the half and eventually cruised to an 82-48 win over the visiting Seawolves on Friday night at Coussoulis Arena.  Sonoma drops to 5-18 overall and 4-15 in the CCAA.  San Bernardino improves to 20-3 (17-2 CCAA).

The Coyotes' margin of victory over the Seawolves is the largest in the series history between the two teams dating back to 1991 (42 games).  Khalid Johnson and Justin Herold led SSU with just 10 points apiece in the loss.

Sonoma State will play its final road game of the season on Saturday when it travels to La Jolla to take on UC San Diego at 7:30 pm in RIMAC Arena.
