DAVIS, Calif. -- Philip Holbrook won his first set at No. 2 singles, but his opponent, Brett Bacharach, rallied to earn the point, securing a 7-0 shutout in favor of host UC Davis on Sunday against Sonoma State at the Marya Welch Tennis Center in Davis.  The Seawolves, who recently broke into the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II Top 50 Poll for the first time since the fall of 2012 at No. 48, falls to 1-5 this season.  The NCAA Division I Aggies rise to 7-6.

Sonoma State will head into the city on Monday to face another Division I foe, the University of San Francisco.  First serve is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
