Holbrook and Lee Net All-PacWest Men's Tennis Honors

IRVINE, Calif. -- Philip Holbrook and Noah Lee were included on the 2015 All-PacWest Conference Men's Tennis team in both singles and doubles, it was announced on Friday by the league office.  Holbrook was selected to the second team in singles with Lee bagging third team honors.  The duo were honored together as third team in doubles.

Holbrook, a sophomore who graduated Napa's Vintage High School, occupied the No. 1 singles position all year long.  His finest performance came at the PacWest Championship, where he won twice, including 6-0, 6-0 against 39th-ranked Martin Chojnacki of BYU-Hawaii, a first team pick.  Holbrook was also unbeaten in doubles play at the PacWest Championship, combining with Lee to outscore their opponents 24-14.

Lee, a newcomer to the program in 2015 from Forestville, did a nice job slotted behind Holbrook in the No. 2 singles spot.  He had an overall record of 10-13 and tied for the team lead in singles wins.  Lee's doubles record with Holbrook was 4-10.

The PacWest tennis awards and teams are based on a combination of coach voting and national rankings. The individual player and coach awards are nominated and selected by the PacWest coaches. The All-PacWest teams are based on the ITA West Region rankings released prior to the NCAA Championship (April 22).
