ROHNERT PARK, Calif. -- For the first time since 2012, the Sonoma State University men's basketball team will host a first round game in this year's California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Tournament. The game is scheduled for Tuesday, February 28th at 7:00 pm, though the opponent will not be known until after Saturday night's contests.

At 18-6 overall and 14-4 in CCAA play, the Seawolves are having one of the best seasons in school history. Winners of 12 of 13 at one point, the team boasts the top-ranked defense in the nation, yielding just 57.1 points per game.
SSU is currently in third place, one game behind San Francisco State and a game and half behind UC San Diego.
General admission tickets are $8.00, faculty and staff, members of the armed forces (with ID), and seniors are $5.00, visiting students and children 12 and under are $2.00.
The first 500 Sonoma State students will receive free admission, courtesy of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. No advance ticket sales are available for students; all tickets must be picked up at the door, starting at 6:00 pm on game day.
As this is a CCAA event, no SSU or SSAA season passes will be accepted for admission.
