SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- The Sonoma State University Men's Tennis team continued its season Saturday in San Diego when it took on nationally-ranked Point Loma Nazarene University. The Seawolves lost 8-1 and fall to 0-5 on the season and the Point Loma Sea Lions move to 1-6 on the season.
After losing all their double matches, the Seawolves managed to get a point from #4 singles,
Blaine Mengert, who won his match after trailing 6-4 after his first set. Four Seawolves did manage to get to the third set in their singles matches, with Mengert being the only one to win.
The Seawolves wrap up their three-game Southern California road trip Sunday when they face #14 UC San Diego, first serve in La Jolla is expected around 10 A.M.
