COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Saturday afternoon the Seawolves continued their four-match Colorado road trip and took on the Colorado College Tigers. After jumping out to an early 2-1 lead, the Seawolves clinched victory by winning five of the six double matches.
Double pairs
Max Nudell and
Alec Wong won their double match by a score of 6-4 and
Sullivan Roche and Blain Mengert won their match of a score of 6-5, clinching victory on the tie breaker. The Seawolves dominated the singles competition with five victories.
Sullivan Roche has won his #4 singles match with a score of 7-5, 6-0 and now has won three of his last four matches.
After leading 2-1 after the double matches, the Tigers tied the matched at 2 when Noah Forman defeated
Max Nudell in the #1 singles match. The Seawolves clinched victory after
Blaine Mengert won his #5 singles competition with a score of 6-4, 7-5.
The Seawolves conclude their Colorado road trip tomorrow with matches against Colorado Christian and #50 Metro State. The first match against Colorado Christian is expected to start at 7:00 A.M.
