DAVIS, Calif. – Fresh off snapping a 20-year losing streak with a 5-4 win over UC Santa Cruz last week, the Sonoma State Seawolves traveled for a Saturday morning matchup with Division I opponent UC Davis. The Seawolves fell to the Aggies, who claimed the 7-0 sweep at home, and now move to 2-2 on the year.
While Sonoma State won a game in every set played, they were unable to pull an upset set from their DI opponent.
The Seawolves will return to action next weekend when they travel to Phoenix, Arizona on Friday for the Phoenix Invitational. Sonoma State is slated to take on Western New Mexico and Colorado Mesa on Friday at 9am and 2:30pm respectively.
