SURPRISE, Ariz. -- The Seawolves completed their fourth and final game of the Phoenix Invitational this morning with a 7-2 victory over the Ottawa University-Arizona Spirit. The Seawolves improve to 6-2 while the Spirit fall to 0-4.
The Seawolves started the match by winning two of the three double matches. Going into singles play up 2-1, the Seawolves needed three singles victories to win the game. Nate Oppenheim defeated Leonardo Couto in Singles 1 (6-2, 6-1) to win the match for the Seawolves. Allan Lock, Sean Alves, Max Nudell and Igor Pissarenko were also victorious today in their singles matches.
The Seawolves return home for a three game home stand starting next Friday, March 2nd where they will host Biola University. First serve is expected to be served at 1:30pm.
