ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – Senior Zane Sheckherd was named to the CCAA All-Conference team on Tuesday, earning Second Team accolades.  Sheckherd capped off her career at Sonoma State with a fantastic final season, leading the team in scoring, rebounding and assists while leading the Seawolves to a CCAA Tournament berth. 
 
Sheckherd set career highs across the board this season, finishing with 10.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 23 games played.  She scored in double figures 13 times while setting a career high with 19 points in a win over Cal State Dominguez Hills.  Sheckherd also recorded her first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds in a win over San Francisco State. 
 
In addition to her scoring, Sheckherd was also the team's top rebounder.  She grabbed double digit rebounds three times, including a career best 16 against Cal Poly Humboldt. 
 
Sheckherd was at her best in conference play, scoring in double figures in 11 of her last 15 games and averaging 11.5 points and 7.2 rebounds in CCAA play.
