ROHNERT PARK, CALIF. - Sonoma State's
Alli McDonald has been selected as the CCAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season.
In SSU's win over Cal Poly Humboldt on New Years Day, McDonald scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds. She added a career-best four steals and blocked two shots.
The sophomore forward was 10-for-14 from the field (71 percent) and converted on all four free throw chances. McDonald, who is from Diamond Springs, has scored 20-plus points in two of her last three games.
McDonald now leads the CCAA with 1.5 blocks per game and is second in rebounding with 9.6 per game. She's also second in free throws at 89.2 percent.
