ROHNERT PARK, CALIF.- While the season may have ended for Sonoma State Women's Soccer a pair of Seawolves were selected to the CCAA's Honorable Mention squad for their performance on this pitch during the 2024 season!

Julia Betti ends her time with the Seawolves having earned admission to the Honorable Mention team for three straight years. Betti has been a mainstay for Sonoma State during her career and the 2024 season was no exception. Betti appeared and started in all 18 contests of the season for Sonoma and played 1603 out of a possible 1610 minutes. She added two goals to her resume while managing 10 shots on goal for the year. Her biggest contributions came on the defensive end of the pitch where she proved to be a top-tier defender for Sonoma. Her ability to stymie opposing teams offensive actions were some of the best in the conference. She also brought a high level of leadership to the Seawolves who could rest easy that Betti was ready to serve as a last line of defense.

Newcomer to Seawolves, Kayleigh Acree was also honored as a member of the Honorable Mention team. Acree, a sophomore from  Puyallup, Washington, made an instant impact in her first season out at Seawolf Soccer Field. Acree was one of the fastest forwards in the conference who constantly put pressure on her opponents defensive lines with her speed. For the season she notched a goal and an assist to go along with 14 shots, eight of which were on goal. Acree saw action in all 18 games this season while starting in 14 of them. She played in over 760 minutes and will be a key piece of the team's offense moving forward!
