The Seawolves jumped out to a big first half lead against one of the toughest teams in the region, a 17-9 advantage at the 11:17 mark. However, Seattle Pacific went on a big 20-2 run over the next seven minutes to gain control of the half with a 10 point lead (29-19). Sonoma State chipped away at the Falcon lead and went into the locker room at halftime down just five points at 32-27.
In the second half, Sonoma State got to within one point on two occasions, but the size of Seattle Pacific helped the Falcons regain their momentum and extended their lead to as much as 14 points with 8:23 left in the game. The Seawolves tried to bounce back, but couldn't trim the lead below 10 points the rest of the way.
Seattle Pacific had three scorers in double-figures, led by the 14 points of Caitlyn Rohrbach and Katie Benson. Nyesha Sims added 11 in the Falcon's winning effort. Despite the size disadvantage, Sonoma State held its own on the boards, being outrebounded by only three (38-35) with
Aly Conway leading the way with 10.
Bisordi was the only Seawolf in double-figures, as she scored her 17 on 7-of-17 shooting, including 3-of-7 from beyond three-point range.
