ROHNERT PARK -- Newcomer Leeana Bade led all players with 14 points, adding five rebounds as the Sonoma State women's basketball team earned a 58-42 victory over William Jessup on Halloween night at The Wolves' Den in Rohnert Park.  The Seawolves will play one more exhibition game before the season-opener on Nov. 15 at home against Menlo -- SSU will play at UC Davis on Nov. 7 at 7:00 pm.

The Seawolves were in control of the game for most of the 40 minutes in game action.  Once they got the lead early in the first half, they never relinquished it again.

Bade's effort was complemented by Taylor Acosta and Tanner Adams with nine points each. The leading scorer for William Jessup was Crystal Sewell, who collected seven points in 11 minutes of action.

The stats that paint the picture of the 16-point victory for the Seawolves was the 33-11 advantage in points off turnovers and the Sonoma State bench outscored the William Jessup bench, 26-6.  The Seawolves shot 33 percent for the game compared with 30 percent for William Jessup.
