NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- Sonoma State senior

In doubles play, Celma and teammate
Kaitlyn Haithcock ended the year as the 9th-ranked doubles tandem in the West Region, sporting a 14-9 record overall and a 12-8 mark in dual matches, earning themselves an All-PacWest Third Team nod.

The Seawolves have garnered their highest national ranking to end the season (No. 19) after going 18-7 under the direction of the 2014 ITA Division II West Region Coach of the Year,
Joaquin Lopez. Sonoma State, which competed as an affiliate member of the Pacific West Conference for the first time this season in program history, placed fifth at the conference tournament in Arizona in April.

The PacWest tennis awards and teams are based on a combination of coach voting and national rankings. The individual player and coach awards are nominated and selected by the PacWest coaches. The All-PacWest teams are based on the ITA West Region rankings released prior to the NCAA Championship (April 23).
