BOX SCORE Carson, Calif. – After trailing Cal State Dominguez Hills in the first half, the Seawolves outscored the Toros in the remaining 20 minutes of play.
The Seawolves are now 5-7 overall and 3-4 in the CCAA.
For the second time, this season the Seawolves had five players score double figures. Led by
Isaac Davidson (16 pts.),
Nick Klarman (14 pts.),
Aaron Porcil (11 pts.),
Jordan Hickman (11 pts.), and
Armani Nicolis (10 pts.).
Klarman with a career-high scoring performance averaging a point a minute against the Toros (14 points). Hickman recorded a season-high seven rebounds and a season-high four field goals.
The Seawolves capitalized on 15 points off turnovers, six-second chance points, 35 bench points, and 30 points in the paint to give the Seawolves a 66-64 lead with just under four minutes remaining.
In the final half, the Seawolves held the Toros to 52.2 percent from the field and 68.8 percent from the charity line.
