Rohnert Park, CA - With the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches offering awards to All-America first team, second team, and honorable mention the Seawolves secured a spot in each category with 3 seniors receiving the award! Sonoma State finished the brief 2020 season at 9-8 winning 7 of their last 8 matches before the cancellation. Sonoma State University made the unfortunate decision of cutting the SSU water polo program as well as the men's and women;s tennis programs due to ongoing budget issues as a result of the COVID-19 situation. In the coming weeks we will honor those programs again by recognizing each team's seniors and current players. The ACWPC honored three Seawolf seniors today with All-America honors!
