ALAMEDA, CALIF. - On Tuesday, March 12th, the Sonoma State men's golf team continued their momentum after a 4th place finish last week at the Nighthawks Invitational and placed 5th at the annual Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout. The Seawolves put together one of their best single round performances of the season with an opening 280 (-8) Monday morning. Four of the team's starting five finished the first round under par to launch them into 2nd place. They would drop 7 strokes in the afternoon round on Monday but remain alone in 2nd place at 9-under-par.
Cole Kroeker continues to put together a solid freshman campaign as he went on to record the low round of the tournament for SSU with a first round 68 (-4). On Tuesday, senior

Despite finishing 8-over-par in their final round, the Seawolves put together one of their better scoring performances all season as they stood at 9-under after the first two rounds. Kroeker finished t-26th at 1-over-par but recorded the team's low round of the week at 4-under on Monday.
