Seawolves Drop T.O.C. Opener To Vikings

TURLOCK, Calif-  The Sonoma State softball team dropped their opener on Friday at the Mizuno Tournament of Champions in Turlock.  The Seawolves fell to Western Washington 9-0 in six innings.  SSU goes to 9-19 on the year.

The Vikings scored five runs in the second inning to take a lead they would not relinquish.  SSU managed just three hits and committed a season-high six errors.  Brittany Williams was tagged with the loss, but four of the nine runs she gave up were unearned, due to SSU errors.

The Seawolves take on Seattle University later on Friday.
