ROHNERT PARK, Calif- Senior

The Seawolves used a smothering defense to build up early leads of 10-2 and 19-4. Their first half lead would expand to as many as 18 and the Golden Eagles wouldn't hit double digits until a layup with four seconds left in the half made it 28-11 at the break.
With just under 12 minutes to go, Sonoma had built the lead to its maximum of 20 at 38-18. At that point, the Golden Eagles began to hit some shots and after a 16-5 run spurred by three three-pointers, CSULA had cut the lead to single digits at 43-34. It would stay right around there for the remainder of the game.

As a team, the Seawolves shot 34% for the game, though they would hit just one of their 16 three-point attempts.
Cal State L.A. was led by 15 points from Jamiez Terrell. Jordan Kuzma would lead all players with 12 rebounds.
The Seawolves return to action on Tuesday when they head up the coast to take on Humboldt State. The game will serve as a rematch after the Lumberjacks knocked off the Seawolves at The Wolves' Den on November 24th.
