Simone Brandalise had two hits in Saturday's loss to the Toros
CARSON, Calif-  Between rain drops, Sonoma State and Cal State Dominguez Hills were able to get in one game of their scheduled softball doubleheader on Saturday with the Toros emerging with a 9-0 win in six innings.  The fourth and final game of the series is set for 10:00 am on Sunday.  The Seawolves will enter that contest at 3-5, 1-2 CCAA.

The Toros (4-5, 2-1 CCAA) picked up three runs in the first inning off Sonoma starter Brittany Reynolds.  A run in the fifth and then five in the sixth, the last four on a Jessica Marlow's walkoff grand slam, ended the game in six innings.

The Seawolves offense generated six hits, two off the bat of Simone Brandalise and Skylynn Myers.  Brandalise is now batting .429 after eight games, though as a team, the Seawolves are at just .211.

Reynolds was tagged with the loss, though Lindsay Emmel and Brittany Williams also appeared in the game.
