BLOOMINGTON, Ind-  The Sonoma State water polo team picked up a split on Saturday at the University of Indiana's Fluid Four Tournament, falling to the host Hoosiers 13-4 before earning an exciting 10-9 win over Maryland.  The results leave the Seawolves at 8-11 overall.
In the day's first action, the Seawolves stuck with the Hoosiers through one period, trailing just 4-3.  It would be Indiana, however, scoring nine of the final ten goals to win going away.  
Laurel Stricklin had three of the Seawolves' four goals.
Against Maryland, the Seawolves needed a comeback effort to earn the win.  Trailing 9-6 heading in to the fourth quarter, Sonoma outscored the Terrapins 4-0 in the fourth to earn the one-goal win.  
Samantha Mullins, 
Sarah Watt, and 
Courtney Rider each had two goals to lead the Seawolves.
Sonoma State closes out tournament play on Sunday against the University of Michigan.
