BOX SCORE Sonoma State def. Cal State Dominguez Hills 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-22) -- Box Score

ROHNERT PARK --
Caylie Seitz smashed 15 kills and Ally Sather added 11 more as the efficient Sonoma State offense hit at a blazing .327 clip to sweep past visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills on Senior Night at The Wolves' Den. It is the second straight three-set victory for the Seawolves, who improve to 19-7 overall and 13-5 in CCAA action, moving back into a tie with San Francisco State for third place in the standings -- the Gators got swept by Cal State L.A. earlier tonight.  The Toros, meanwhile, fall to 9-15 and 7-10 in the conference.

The conference's most-efficient offense had another outstanding performance on Saturday, pounding out 46 kills with 13 errors in 101 attacks, a .327 hitting percentage.  It all got started in the first set when Sonoma State hit .433, thanks to five kills with no errors in nine chances by Kelsey Hull and 4 out of 7 from Seitz, also without an error.  After phoning in a dominating 25-16 win in the opening frame, Cal State Dominguez Hills began to show some resistance.  Although the Seawolves hit .333 and the Toros hit .121, CSUDH forced seven ties and three lead changes, the most of the night.  However, SSU got away with the 25-18 victory to lead the match 2-0.

The Toros rallied in the third set and was able to take a considerable lead at 17-12, but the Seawolves came storming back to score eight of the next 10 points to take a 20-19 lead.  A Delea Pursel kill knotted the score at 20-20, but Sonoma State would begin to pull away for the 25-22 win and the match victory in just one hour, 15 minutes.

Seitz, who hit .414 in the match, led all players with her aforementioned 15 kills, followed by the 11 from Sather, who was one of the four seniors that were honored prior to the match.  Hull ended the night with nine kills and Madelyn Densberger chipped in with five.  Hayley Ross passed out a match-high 25 assists and senior Sammi Bentovoja recorded a career-high 10 digs, also a team-high on Saturday, in her final collegiate home match.

The Toros' Elizabeth Krieger led the Cal State Dominguez Hills attack with eight kills on 25 attempts; she also had 10 digs.

Sonoma State will now hit the road for its final four matches of the regular season in hopes of qualifying for the NCAA tournament for the fifth straight year.  It will be no easy road, though, as the Seawolves will head to southern California next weekend to take on the top two teams of the CCAA -- Cal State San Bernardino (Friday) and UC San Diego (Saturday).
