ARCATA, Calif. -- Will Olsem became the 12th player in program history to exceed 1,000 career points as the Sonoma State men's basketball team earned a monumental comeback victory over Humboldt State on Saturday night at Lumberjack Arena in Arcata. The Seawolves (6-8, 4-6 CCAA), went on a 23-9 run over the final 10 minutes of the game, including a 17-1 run that spun a 10-point deficit into a six-point lead with 2:58 left in regulation, and held off the host Lumberjacks (6-8, 2-8 CCAA) for the 62-58 win to snap a three-game skid.
Olsem, a senior out of Sacramento, Calif. and El Camino HS, scored 12 points in Saturday's win to reach 1,010 in his career at SSU.
