ROHNERT PARK -- After a three-game road trip, the Sonoma State men's basketball team will return home to take on Cal State L.A. and Cal State Dominguez Hills. Currently playing .500 ball, the Seawolves hold a record of 5-5 overall and 3-3 in the CCAA and look to build on their momentum with a chance to move up in the CCAA ranks, after coming out victorious in their last game on Saturday at Cal State Stanislaus.

RIVAL RECAP: Sonoma State split a pair of games this past weekend, losing to Chico State (82-65) while overcoming adversity to seal the win over Cal State Stanislaus (70-67).
Patrick Scott led the Seawolves in scoring in both games, dropping in 16 points against Chico State and 17 points against Cal State Stanislaus, a game where he shot a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line.
SCOUTING CAL STATE L.A.: Presently one of the three teams tied with Sonoma State for the fifth place spot in the CCAA, Cal State L.A. comes into The Wolves' Den with a 6-4, 3-3 CCAA record. This weekend's matchup will be the 32nd meeting between the Seawolves and Golden Eagles with Sonoma State holding a 21-11 advantage in the all-time series. Cal State L.A. has only won four games against Sonoma State in The Wolves' Den, including one last season as each team won on the road in a split of the season series. James Tillman is leading the team in scoring and is tied for the CCAA lead in points per game, averaging 17.5. Joshua Munzon is averaging 11.9 points per game, while Jordan Richard is averaging a quiet double-double, putting in 10.5 points per game and collecting a conference-leading 10.5 rebounds per game.
SCOUTING CAL STATE DOMINGUEZ HILLS: Sitting at 7-6, 3-3 CCAA, the Toros of Cal State Dominguez Hills are another team that is tied for fifth place with Sonoma State in the early conference season. SSU holds the 20-16 edge in the all-time series and has held the Toros to only four wins in The Wolves' Den, the last one coming in 2009. Sonoma State and Cal State Dominguez Hills split the season series in the 2011-12 series, with both teams winning on their respective home courts. Givon Crump is averaging 12.4 points per game to lead the Toros offense, while DeShaun Freeman follows closely, averaging 10.6 points per game. Lamine Diame leads the CCAA in rebounds per game, averaging 8.6 boards per game.

Will Olsem sits at 961 career points, needing 39 points to become the 12th member in the history of the Sonoma State men's basketball program to join the 1,000-point club.
Patrick Scott dropped 16 points in Chico and 17 points in Turlock, putting him at a career 892 points, 108 points shy of the exclusive 1,000-point club.

Patrick Scott and Cal State L.A.'s James Tillman are the California Collegiate Athletic Association leading scorers, both averaging 17.5 points per game. Last week, Tillman edged out Scott by 0.1 point for the spot of the conference's number one scorer. Scott dropped in 33 combined points against Chico State and Cal State Stanislaus, while Tillman recorded 32 combined points in games against Cal State East Bay and Cal State Monterey Bay last weekend.
SEAWOLVES' NOTES: Along with Scott's 17.5 points per game, Olsem is averaging 10.4.
