Seawolves Come Away With Split Against Coyotes On Saturday

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif -- Keisi Chinen blasted a grand slam as part of a seven-run second inning in the opener to help the Sonoma State softball team to a 7-5 victory over Cal State San Bernardino in the opener before the Coyotes rallied to defeat the Seawolves 4-3 in the series finale on Saturday at Coyote Park in San Bernardino.  Sonoma moves to 8-6 overall and 2-6 in the CCAA while San Bernardino is no 10-7 and 4-4 in conference play.

Sonoma State will play four more games on the road next weekend in a four-game series at Cal State East Bay in Hayward Friday and Saturday before returning home on Mar. 7-8 to host nationally-ranked UC San Diego.
