Kaysie Lewis led with three goals in the nightcap against host Pomona-Pitzer as the Sonoma State women's water polo team recorded wins of 13-3 and 7-5, respectively, on day one of the Claremont Convergence Tournament Friday at Haldeman Pool in Claremont.
The Seawolves jumped to 5-8 this season and will play two more games on Saturday against Chapman (10:20 am) and Cal Lutheran (2:20 pm).

Nicole Cunningham came in midway through the third period. Cunningham allowed three goals, but had four saves in her first collegiate appearance as a goalie.

Lyndsie Williams scored with 6:08 remaining in regulation to put SSU up 5-4.
The Sagehens responded with the equalizer on their next possession to make it 5-5, but a pair of powerplay goals by Cunningham and
Carleigh Robinson on back-to-back possessions by the Seawolves put SSU ahead for good.
Lewis put in a team-high three goals while Robinson added two, Williams and Cunningham had the others.
Ellen Peterson handed out three assists and Herrera drew four ejections in the win.
