CLAREMONT, Calif. -- Carleigh Robinson scored four goals in the morning, then
Noelle Herrera added four more in the afternoon, both leading the Sonoma State women's water polo team to two more victories on Saturday, an 11-6 win over Chapman before an 11-7 triumph over Cal Lutheran, to wrap up an undefeated weekend at the Claremont Convergence, hosted by Pomona-Pitzer in Claremont.
The Seawolves (7-8) have won five straight games, the longest such streak since 2006.
Sonoma State will play one more game in southern California -- Sunday at Chapman at Noon -- before returning home to host Hartwick on Friday at 3:00 pm in Rohnert Park.

Ellen Peterson and
Nicole Groat to take a 2-1 lead. After Chapman tied things up at 2-2, two goals by Robinson and another by
Nicole Cunningham put SSU up 5-2 with just under six minutes to go in the first half.
However, Chapman came back with three unanswered goals of its own to knot the game up at 5-5, but another goal by Robinson just before halftime gave Sonoma the lead, one they would not relinquish, eventually pulling away for the 11-6 win.

Lyndsie Williams and Cunningham had two each. Cunningham also recorded a steal and three drawn exclusions, two of which resulted in penalty shot goals.
Taylor Plorin made five saves in the cage, adding three steals and one assist.

The Seawolves did find themselves tied at 6-6 with 3:15 to go in the third quarter, but Williams, Herrera,
Kaysie Lewis, and Robinson were responsible for five unanswered goals over a span of seven minutes to secure their fifth straight win.
Lewis added three goals and one assist, Williams had two goals along with one assist, four steals and a drawn exclusion, and Robinson chipped in with two goals, one assist and two drawn exclusions. Plorin again made five stops in the cage for SSU.
