ROHNERT PARK, CALIF. - Sonoma State women's soccer program represented the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) in the final United Soccer Coaches rankings, released Dec. 14.
Sonoma State was consistently listed in the United Soccer Coaches rankings throughout the season, reaching as high as No. 5 early in September. The Seawolves posted an 8-3 record in league play (15-6-0 overall) and earned their second consecutive CCAA regular-season title. Sonoma State made a run to the CCAA Tournament Championship match and also picked up a 5-1 victory over Hawaii Hilo in the NCAA West Regional.
