WAIKOLOA VILLAGE, HAWAII- The Seawolves wrapped up their week long Hawaiian road trip with another two rounds played in the HPU Shootout. With 19 teams teeing off the Seawolves were able to secure a sixth place finish behind the strong play of some familiar faces.

Colin Huang wrapped up his fall season with another top five finish to his resume. Between two rounds of play Huang posted 12 total birdies with another 19 shots on par. HIs round one performance was the best of the entire tournament with a stellar five under par score. Huang has now finished no worse than 8th as an individual and has shot five under par for three tournaments during the fall.

The next finishers for Sonoma were Ivan Sablan and Ryan Stewart as the pair would tie. Sablan came into this tournament riding high after finishing fourth at the Dennis Rose Invitational earlier in the week. Sablan would add six more birdies to his resume while shooting on par for day one and three over par on day two. Meanwhile, Stewart had four birdies but also added an eagle on day one. He was also consistent across the two days of play shooting one over par through round one and was just two over par on the second day of play. 

Joseph Sotelo and Robby Keilch were next on the leaderboards. The two combined for two eagles and 10 birdies for the tournament. Both players posted solid round one performances with Keilch shooting one over par and Sotelo coming in on par. 

It was the final fall tournament for Sonoma State Men's Golf. Across all four of their tournaments they finished within the top six including three in the top five. The team will enjoy some time away from competition before gearing back up for their championship season come the spring.
