KOHALA COAST, Hawaii-
Jarin Todd shot his third consecutive round of 69 on Tuesday to finish fifth individually at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate at the Mauna Lani North Course in Hawaii. As a team, the second-ranked Seawolves finished third, seven strokes behind Saint Edward's and Valdosta State.
Todd's 69-69-69--207 was five strokes behind the individual champion, Jake Koppenberg of Western Washington. Koppenberg shot a 70-68-64--202 for the title.
Spencer Shishido had a nice tournament, opening with a 69 and following that with consecutive 71's to finish at 211. That was good enough for ninth place.
Patrick Bauer shot a 72-71-74--217 for 21st place,
Ryan Carter's 69-75-74--218 put him in 26th, and
Keith Rodriguez was 29th at 72-77-71--220.
The Seawolves close out a tremendous fall season with two championships, two second place finishes, and a third.
The next round of golf to be played by the Sonoma State golf team won't be until late February.
