Sonoma State jumped ahead again, pushing the lead to four at 50-46 before another UCSD rally, this one a 5-0 spurt, gave the Tritons a one-point lead with 5:07 remaining.  The lead switched hands seven times in the final five minutes before the Tritons tied the game up on a jumper by Chelsea Carlisle with six seconds left.  The Seawolves had a chance to win, but a half court heave by
Olivia Larkin came up short.
In the overtime, the Tritons quickly put eight points on the board to take an insurmountable lead.  UCSD shot 4-of-4 from the field in the extra frame and 9-of-10 from the free throw line.
